Fresh tracks leading across the frozen lake at 12:47 pm. 19/12/23 I’ve decided, after two inspiring, creatively fulfilling years of writing Home Comforts, that the time feels right to bring it to a close. This has been such a special place for me to explore a theme so close to my heart, and has resulted in my first completed body of creative non-fiction work. I’ve written on subjects such as homemaking, routines, political homes and pets, and have felt both motivated and challenged by the parameters of a themed, monthly writing commitment. I’m very proud of the project, and am thankful to every single one of you who subscribed, liked, commented, shared and even personally reached out when a piece had particularly resonated.
